Off the coast of Bora Bora is one of my favorite island resorts in French Polynesia: Le Taha’a.

I’ve visited here four times (including 2 trips with kids), and it's everything you imagine the South Pacific to be. Perfect white sand beaches, crystal-clear warm blue water, and snorkeling in the Coral Garden right outside your villa.

The resort is located on the secluded Motu Tautau, facing the main island of Taha’a, offering stunning views of Bora Bora. The island is surrounded by the pristine and untouched neighboring islands of Raiatea and Huahine, which offer a step back in time to the authentic history of the islands. Explore the sacred UNESCO Heritage site of Marae Taputapuatea on Raiatea, take a Jeep tour to the vanilla plantations of Taha'a, or enjoy a quick helicopter trip to Bora Bora; these islands have it all.
